DESCRIPTION:Prepare your hand plane for daily use and achieve crisp clean shavings. Students will learn the proper methods of disassembling, cleaning, adjusting the frog to set the plane mouth opening, flattening the plane’s sole, and fitting the cap iron (chip breaker) to the plane iron. We will also sharpen the plane iron and learn how to adjust the plane iron to take straight clean shavings. (Bring one metal hand plane size #4 - #8)
