Summary

The Jupiter Side Table is a great introduction to furniture making techniques and traditional joinery. We’ll be using african mahogany (aka sapele) for the top and maple for the legs and rails. You’ll learn how to layout & create joinery for mortise and tenons joints and half lap joints, cutting circles, tapering legs, counterboring, resawing, and bookmatching. You’ll gain experience using the bandsaw, drill press, table saw, milling machines like the jointer and planer, and hand held tools like the plunge router. **Note - This is four week course that will meet on Sunday Mornings from 9am - 1pm, February 1st - Feb 15th.**
