Course Description
In this class, students will learn the basics of machine embroidery on our Brother embroidery machines, including patch making as well as direct-to-garment embroidery. They will learn the importance of the various stabilizing materials and how they interact with the various base fabrics, machine setup & threading, fabric hooping. Various finishing techniques will be demonstrated and discussed.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course students should be able to:

Understand the different types of threads, stabilizers, and fabrics.

Understand the basics of machine embroidery setup.

Hoop their own fabrics to prepare for embroidery.

Learn to use print/cut softwares to cut out patches.
