Making a Stained Glass Holiday Ornament

This is an introductory course on the making of stained glass. Students will learn how to cut, grind, foil, solder, and finish their glass pieces. Holiday-themed templates will be used to create fun holiday-inspired hanging ornaments.

What we'll learn:

* Design Layout and Marking

* Cutting Straight Lines in Glass

* Cutting Curved Shapes in Glass

* Grinding Glass to Refine the Shape

* Applying Copper Foil

* Soldering

* Finishing and Cleaning

All materials will be provided for the class but please bring a mask and adequate eye protection as you will be cutting and grinding glass.
