Summary

This class focuses on using the Rong-Fu 45 Vertical Mill. Several other
metal shop tools commonly used in conjunction with the mill will be
covered as well. It is a required prerequisite for the Tormach (CNC
mill) class.

Description

This class focuses on using the Rong-Fu 45 Vertical Mill. Several other 
metal shop tools commonly used in conjunction with the mill will be 
covered as well, including the horizontal and vertical bandsaws, the 
grinder, belt sander, and sand blaster. Each student will leave the 
class with a hunk of machined aluminum (a partially completed bottle 
opener).

This class is a required prerequisite for the Tormach (CNC mill) class.
