Wood Lathe Basics w/ Charles

This is an introductory class to help students feel comfortable working with the wood lathe, and to introduce some of the skills needed to create an endless list of projects. A primary focus of the class will be on safety and ensuring the lathe gouges are kept sharp and in excellent shape. The safety aspects of working with this tool are extremely important as well as ensuring the lathe gouges and chisels are kept sharp and in excellent shape and Students will be given a few opportunities to get hands on with the wood lathe through the class.
