The MIG Welding class provides a thorough introduction to Metal Inert Gas (also called "wire") welding techniques, covering equipment setup, safety, and proper welding procedures. Participants will gain practical hands-on experience to confidently and safely create strong, clean welds.

Requirements for Class:
Dress: natural fiber long (cotton, linen, or wool) pants, natural fiber shirt, and closed toed shoes
Syllabus
Safety
- Basic setup of the welder
- How to weld beads
- How to tack weld
- Weld a butt, tee, and overlap joint
- Cover the use of the tools in the metal shop
- Learn to use a plasma cutter
- Cleanup
