Machine Embroidery w/ Gabrielle

This course is designed to help students level up their sewing journey with embroidery machines. Designed for enthusiasts with prior sewing experience or those who have completed our Intro to Sewing course, this hands-on class integrates both the embroidery and sewing machines. Students will learn how to operate the Brother SE600 sewing and embroidery machine, understand its various components, and explore a range of mechanized embroidery techniques as well as learning the essentials of importing designs into Inkscape/Inkstitch and loading files. Through hands-on practice, students will develop the skills necessary to confidently use embroidery for a variety of sewing projects. This class will culminate in the creation of an embroidered koozie/can cooler.

Note: Participants are required to arrive with Inkscape and Inkstitch pre-installed, as the class will not allocate time for troubleshooting installations.
